The Host

Alright, so Stephanie Meyers really turned some heads with her hit book series "Twilight".  Well her second book "The Host" had a fair following as well, so I figured I would give the movie a shot, it was terrible.  Absolutely horrible, the reason Twilight was good at all was due to a compelling story even though her writing was very amateur and shoddy.  This film had her horrible writing all over it, I felt as though the movie was a perfect reflection of her terrible writing.  Audiences felt as though they had been gypped out of two hours of their life.  The only people who it seems truly enjoyed the picture were 12 year old girls who read the book.  All in all, a very disappointing piece of work, and a bad reflection of entertainment in today's media.  Or ya know what, it may have been a perfect reflection of entertainment in today's media.
